What is die cutting? Die Cutting is the process of using a metal die (think cookie cutter) to cutout or remove sections of your printed piece.

What is spot uv gloss? Spot Gloss or "Spot UV" is a process by which a clear high gloss liquid coating is applied to certain elements or "spots" within your design.

What is embossing & debossing? Embossing is a process by which a shape is pushed out of the paper in relief. Deboss is the opposite, where the shape is pushed downwards in to the paper.

  • Colored Edges

What are colored edges? Colored edges or "painted edges" are created by squeezing a stack of cards with a vice and painting on spot color pms inks with a foam brush.

  • Corners

What are round corners? Using a standard rounded radius die, we cookie cut out your square cards so the corners have a perfectly consistent rounding every time.

What are Pantone PMS Colors? In addition to the 4-color process print, which is included free, you can add Pantone Ink Colors. PMS Colors or "Spot Colors" are hand-mixed ink colors. The Pantone Color Matching System is perfect for designs that require precise brand color matching - think UPS brown.
