01 — The idea
An interrupted bowl is a C, whatever the intent. The O is now a complete ring behind the R.
Client
A chamber music society
Construction
A high-contrast serif ligature where the O's curve runs unbroken and the R breaks with a thin white gap at the crossing.
03 — On light
Prussian Blue on Cream
03 — On dark
Brass on Prussian Blue
05 — Clear space
Clear space equals the O's stroke width, doubled, on all four sides.
Minimum 18 mm wide. The crossing gap closes under ink spread below that.
06 — Scale
Favicon: the O alone. Below 12 mm the wordmark is dropped and the symbol stands alone.
