01 — The idea
One shape, drawn once and rotated four times. The mark has no correct orientation.
Client
A coffee roastery
Construction
Four identical quarter-discs, each with one curved bite, rotated at 90-degree intervals so the bites form a pinwheel void.
03 — On light
Ink on Kraft Bone
03 — On dark
Roast Orange on Ink
05 — Clear space
Clear space equals the central void's width on all four sides.
Minimum 30 mm on a bag seal with the void open. Below that, the solid variant.
06 — Scale
Favicon: one quadrant alone. Below 12 mm the wordmark is dropped and the symbol stands alone.

09 — Do and do not

✕Never vary the gaps between quadrants
✕Never scale past the central void's limit
✕Never add a correct way up

A studio identity exercise. Mark, palette, type system and usage rules by the Print Peppermint design team.
Every identity we build ships with the file the press needs: vector mark, one-colour version, favicon set, Pantone Uncoated references and a guide like this one.
