What is a flyer?

A flyer is a single unfolded form of print advertisement, which is intended to draw attention to a special event, product, service, and so on. You usually see these being handed out in places with heavy foot traffic.

If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to reach a wider consumer base, you can use flyers.

Flyers come in all sizes, but these are usually printed on 8.5” x 11” paper. You can print on one side of the material with a simple message that audiences can quickly understand and easily remember. You can use full-color printing to draw and hold people’s attention for a certain amount of time.

Depending on its purpose, a flyer is also known as an insert, leaflet, handbill, or circular. Most people use lightweight paper to make flyers, but it’s not a crime to use thicker paper. You can go with thicker paper if your flyers need to be longer lasting. In case audiences need to refer to the information printed on them again and again, you should make your marketing material more durable.
