Infinited Fiber ↗A card cut like a clothing tag
Card for Infinited Fiber in Espoo, Finland: a triplex of 100% recycled cotton, two white cotton sheets around a red core, die-cut as a swing tag with angled corners and a punched hole. Black contact type on one side, 'INFINITED FIBER' blind embossed in a circle on the other. The red layer shows only at the edges and inside the hole.

The idea
Infinited Fiber is a Finnish company, based in Espoo, whose technology turns textile waste that would otherwise be landfilled or burned into new textile fibre. The card shown is for a key account director.
Three rules
- 01Cut as a tag. A swing-tag die-cut with angled corners and a punched hole.
- 02Emboss, not ink. The name blind embossed in a circle, visible only as relief.
- 03Red inside the cotton. A triplex: two 100% recycled cotton sheets laminated around a red core. The red reads as a thin line on every edge and as a ring inside the…
The client
For a company built on giving textiles a second life, the paper had to follow the same rule: 100% cotton, and 100% recycled cotton.
Why it works
A company that remakes clothing hands out a card shaped like a clothing tag, made from recycled cotton. The shape explains the business, the paper proves it, and the red core rewards anyone who looks closely.
Start from these materials
Same paper, foil and finish, locked in — nothing of Infinited Fiber's artwork comes with it.
Questions
- Can a business card have a hole?
- Yes, drilled or punched, with enough space left around it from the edges and text.
- Can die-cut and emboss go on one card?
- Yes. They're separate steps, registered to each other.
- What stock suits blind emboss?
- Heavy, soft white stock takes the crispest impression.
- What is a triplex business card?
- Three sheets laminated into one thick board. Here, two white cotton sheets around a red core, so the colour shows only at the edges and through any cut.
- Can business cards be made from recycled cotton?
- Yes. This one is 100% cotton, all of it recycled.
