Clear business cards are just the coolest thing ever!

When you hand your prospect a semi-translucent clear frosted plastic business cards, you set yourself up for a successful relationship right from the start.

The substantial feel of the 20pt clear PVC, coupled with the modern design aesthetic of using clear or frosted PVC gives your customers the impression that you have high standards, and therefore must offer a quality product or service.

Free Round Corners

Because our 20 pt PVC is so tough, we offer complementary rounded corners for these business cards to ensure that neither you nor your customers injure themselves while handling the clear cards. Your choice of 1/8in or 1/4in corner radius, at no additional cost.

Although we don’t offer clear cards with magnet strips, many of our customers use our opaque white PVC business cards for general membership cards.

By leaving a blank space on the back of your card design, you are able to write a customer’s name using a permanent marker or sharpie.

For example, if you owned a used record store, you might offer a “loyal customer program” or membership for a one-time annual fee that gives them 10% off every order when they show their super cool plastic members-only card.

Another interesting application is to use our clear cards as hang tags. For many t-shirt brands and start-up clothing companies, clear tags are an easy way to give your apparel a visual edge.

Although not included in the pricing displayed here, we do offer the hole drilling service that easily turns your clear cards into super groovy hang tags.

Plastic Business Cards Frequently Asked Questions

Are plastic business cards waterproof?

Yes. Plastic business cards are on-trend right now, as they are more durable and unique-looking than traditional paper cards. Typically made of flexible but tough PVC plastic, these business cards will look sharp even if you expose it to water, coffee, and other liquids. And it holds its shape even if it’s kept in a wallet. When considering plastic business cards, you may want to choose high-gloss plastic. It makes your designs pop. Also, you’d want to print on both sides for an overall standout effect.

Can I print double sided on your plastic cards?

Yes — you can print double-sided on your plastic cards. You can print on both sides of your 20 pt and 30 pt thick white plastic cards. You can also do the same on 30 pt clear or frosted plastic business cards. However, you can’t print double-sided on 20 pt clear or frosted cards.

How do I design for products printed on Plastic?

When you design plastic cards you must keep in mind that clear plastic cards and the frosted ones are transparent. Also, plastic cards with round corners do not have any extra charge! The difference in the transparency can be seen above. The clear cards (on right) are transparent. The frosted cards (in center) are semi-transparent and it is difficult to see through them. Why do all the plastic cards have rounded corners?

Most, if not all, business cards have rounded corners. That’s because sharp pointy edges can potentially result in skin punctures and other injuries that are more severe than paper cuts. Since many of us like to keep our business cards close at hand, we always recommend softening the sharp corners of your plastic cards. It’s safer this way. In addition, corner rounding gives your cards a more finished and professional look. You can also expect your cards to last longer with rounded corners as these soft edges prevent the plastic from cracking or splitting apart.

Why is the print on my plastic card so light?

Plastic cards are made of translucent material. As light passes through them, the image printed in front appears lighter, softer, and muted. If you want more iridescent prints, our premium 30 pt frosted plastic cards should be an excellent alternative to our standard options. You can even add an extra layer of a white block to make the colors on your plastic card look more vivid. This white backer is added before printing ink so that the color of the designs can appear more solid on a clear card.
