01 — The idea
One detail carries the idea: the upright turns over in a single curl, like a tool on a hook.
Client
A neighbourhood tool library
Construction
A heavy geometric K with its diagonals replaced by one squared bracket, and a curl at the top of the upright exactly one stroke width wide.
03 — On light
Ink on Safety Orange
03 — On dark

05 — Clear space
Clear space equals the stroke width, doubled, on all four sides.
Minimum 12 mm wide.
06 — Scale
Favicon: the curl and upright. Below 12 mm the wordmark is dropped and the symbol stands alone.

09 — Do and do not
✓Hold the curl at exactly one stroke width
✓Keep every angle square
✓Cut as a stencil without bridges
✕Never enlarge the curl into a hook
✕Never reintroduce a diagonal
✕Never enclose a counter that needs tying off

Every identity we build ships with the file the press needs: vector mark, one-colour version, favicon set, Pantone Uncoated references and a guide like this one.
