01 — The idea
One stroke, no lifts. The mark is drawn the way a river is read: left to right, following the current, never doubling back. The three peaks are the three bends on the home stretch of water.
Client
a canoe and river-trip outfitter
Construction
a single continuous hand-drawn monoline stroke that rises and falls three times like a looping river bend, forming a loose capital M with round blunt terminals, the last peak trailing off longer and lower than the others
03 — On light
RIVER GREEN on BONE
03 — On dark
PADDLE RED on RIVER GREEN
05 — Clear space
Clear space equals the stroke width × 3 on all sides.
Minimum 18 mm wide in print · 96 px on screen
06 — Scale
Favicon: First peak only. Below 12 mm the wordmark is dropped and the symbol stands alone.
