Dreamday Destinations ↗A wedding invitation, card-sized
Card for Florida destination wedding planner Dreamday Destinations: a silver foil monogram frame between watercolour palm fronds, with a blush-pink reverse.

The idea
Dreamday Destinations is a Florida-based destination wedding planner and travel advisor run by Christine Terezakis. She is an accredited master wedding planner and a certified Sandals & Beaches Resorts specialist, and also plans Disney trips and honeymoons.
Two rules
- 01Foil and full colour together. Watercolour palm fronds printed in full colour, framing a silver foil monogram, the same combination couples see on wedding invitations.
- 02A different colour on each side. A blush-pink reverse behind a small silver badge.
Why it works
Couples meet Christine's card before any of their own stationery exists. Making it look like wedding stationery sets expectations for the rest of the planning.
Start from these materials
Same paper, foil and finish, locked in — nothing of Dreamday Destinations's artwork comes with it.
Questions
- Can foil and full-colour printing go on the same card?
- Yes. The colour is printed first and the foil stamped over it, registered to the artwork.
- How do you get a different colour on each side?
- Duplex two sheets of different stock together, or print a flood on one side. Duplexing keeps the edges clean.
- What finishes suit a wedding planner?
- Foil, soft cotton and gentle colour. The card should feel like the stationery you'd design for a client.
