Letterpress
Ink pushed down into the cotton. Quiet, tactile, classic for a monogram.
Folie
A metal film pressed on with heat. Gold, silver or copper with a little shine. The only way to get a bright metallic on dark paper.
Blindprägung
Your monogram pressed in with no ink at all. You see it in the light and feel it with your thumb. Quoted separately.
How many?
Our runs start at 100 cards. One setup makes the whole run, so the minimum run makes better use of the press. Most people keep them in a drawer and write when it matters. Smaller runs are quoted.
As a gift
A name on a card, and a reason to write. Choose a separate delivery address for the recipient when paying your quote. Ask for a box or liners on your quote.

What's in a personalized stationery set?
Flat note cards with your name or monogram and matching envelopes. Letter sheets and envelope liners can be added on a quote.
Letterpress or foil for a monogram?
Letterpress for a quiet, pressed look in ink. Foil for metallic shine, and it is the only way to put bright gold on dark paper.
Can you design my monogram?
Yes, our studio can set or draw one. Design help is quoted. You see it on the proof before anything prints.
How many note cards should I order?
We start at 100 cards. One setup makes the whole run, so the minimum run is the better buy. Smaller quantities are quoted separately.
How long does personalized stationery take?
About three weeks after you approve the proof, plus shipping. This is an estimate, not a guarantee.
What paper do you use?
Thick cotton for the cards. We confirm the weight and colour on your quote; the Signature note-card listing does not specify a fixed weight.
Can I order it as a gift?
Yes. At quote payment you can choose a separate delivery address for the recipient. Ask for a gift box or envelope liners on your quote; these are not included in the note-card price.
Can I see the paper first?
The Musterset is 9 €, with 15 € credited to your first order. It is a selection of our papers and finishes, not a sample of your own monogram.
