How do you handle floor the stipple?

Foil below about 0.25 mm fills or drops. Half the dots were under that. Regenerated the stipple at a 0.28 mm floor and thinned density to keep the tonal read. Same drawing, printable dots.

How do you handle silk, not uncoated?

Uncoated tooth eats fine foil; coated gloss flashes under the gold. Silk: smooth enough to hold hairline foil, matte enough that the gold is the only thing that shines.
