The Fulfillment Lab ↗Cut to the logo
Die-cut card for The Fulfillment Lab: matte black stock cut as a rounded equilateral triangle, carrying the red TFL emblem and white wordmark on the front and the holder's details in red and white on the reverse.

The idea
The Fulfillment Lab is an e-commerce and marketing fulfilment company in the Tampa Bay area, owned by Rick Nelson, offering custom packaging and fast shipping. The card shown is for its Director of Philanthropy.
Two rules
- 01The card is the emblem. A custom die that cuts the card into a rounded equilateral triangle, echoing the emblem.
- 02Round the points. Generous radii on all three corners.
Why it works
The card is the logo's shape, so it's instantly recognisable.
Start from these materials
Same paper, foil and finish, locked in — nothing of The Fulfillment Lab's artwork comes with it.
Questions
- Can business cards be triangular?
- Yes, with a custom die. Round the corners so the points don't bend.
- Do triangle cards fit in a wallet?
- Yes. A triangular card can be sized to fit a wallet; the finished size decides it.
- How big should the corner radius be?
- On a triangle, bigger than on a rectangle, so the points don't bend.
