Lahaina Noon — business cards
Lahaina Noon at the Royal Lahaina Resort needed collateral that worked at the host stand and on a wet table. Same wordmark, two substrates.

Two rules
- 01One wordmark, two substrates. Letterpress on the card, process on the board with the tracking opened and the rules thickened so the coaster matches by eye.
- 02Off-white cotton, not bright white. Moved the card to off-white 32pt cotton so the two pieces sit in the same temperature.
The brief
Resort collateral set: a 3.5×2 in business card on 32pt off-white cotton with a wide-tracked all-caps sans wordmark "LAHAINA NOON" in navy letterpress and contacts in small caps; beside it a 4 in round heavyweight coaster on off-white coaster board, two-sided 4cp, with a sun-and-horizon mark; both stacked and fanned.

Questions
- What is the Lahaina Noon business cards printed on?
- 32pt off-white cotton, Navy letterpress, Heavyweight coaster board, 4 in round, 4-colour process, two-sided. Every line of that spec is what actually ran, not a proposal.
- Why one wordmark, two substrates?
- Coaster board is absorbent and spreads ink; cotton takes a clean letterpress bite. The same file prints two different weights. Letterpress on the card, process on the board with the tracking opened and the rules thickened so the coaster matches by eye.
- Can Print Peppermint print this specification again?
- Yes. The materials on this page are live registry items, and the Studio link opens with the same paper, foil and finish locked in for your own artwork.
