    A title card, printed

Mason Beck’s Synchro Productions card uses purple foil and silver foil stamped over one another on black uncoated stock, with a heart mark on the front.

Business-cards for Synchro Productions with purple and silver overlay foil stamping, black uncoated stock and two-sided.

    The idea

Synchro Productions is the independent film company of Mason Beck, a St. Louis filmmaker with a film, television and video production degree from Webster University. Five of his seven short films have been festival selections or winners. His 2024 short Your Last Wishes won Best Narrative Film and Best Director at the St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase.

    Two rules

    1. 01Two foils, one layered mark. Purple foil with silver foil stamped over it on black uncoated stock.
    2. 02Carry the finish to the reverse. Purple and silver foil details connect the contact side to the heart mark on the front.

    Why it works

The overlapping purple and silver foil give the mark more depth than a single printed colour against black stock.

    Start from these materials

Same paper, foil and finish, locked in — nothing of Synchro Productions's artwork comes with it.

    Questions

Can one foil be stamped over another?
Yes, with registration and compatibility checked for the two films. This card layers silver over purple foil.
Is the purple a holographic foil?
The confirmed process is purple foil with silver foil overlaid; no holographic film is specified.
    Why use black uncoated stock?
The dark sheet keeps the two metallic foil layers prominent without adding printed background colour.
