Gmund Bier Bock + bright gold foil
The sheet is milled with brewer's spent grain — the husk is still visible in the surface, and on a coffee-brown stock that grain reads as texture rather than noise. Foil is the honest route: the inclusions make the surface uneven enough that fine litho detail breaks up, while a stamp lands flat and bright on top. Fine foil detail holds to 0.1 mm; we design to 0.15 mm and check inclusion-crossing detail at proof. Skip four-colour work entirely.

Matte Warm Gold is the only honest way to get a light mark onto a sheet this dark — ink would sink into it. On a textured dyed-through stock the foil sits proud and the sheet stays matte around it.
