CCT — business cards
CCT's file came in as outlines for a die test. The notch is the feature; the type is there to prove registration.

Two rules
- 01Prove the die before the run. Cut a short test run first with the radius opened slightly, then confirmed the notch against the printed rule before releasing the full run.
- 02Navy letterpress against a cut edge. Printed and impressed first, cured, then die cut. The navy rule ends a full pica short of the cut line.
The brief
Business card 3.5×2 in on 32pt bright white cotton with a custom die-cut notch on the right edge; "CCT" in a bold geometric sans, deep navy letterpress; a single navy rule; contacts small; back solid navy.

Questions
- What is the CCT business cards printed on?
- 32pt white cotton, Navy letterpress, Custom die-cut notch. Every line of that spec is what actually ran, not a proposal.
- Why prove the die before the run?
- Cotton fibres tear rather than shear on a tight inside radius, and the supplied art arrived as outlines with no die spec. Cut a short test run first with the radius opened slightly, then confirmed the notch against the printed rule before releasing the full run.
- Can Print Peppermint print this specification again?
- Yes. The materials on this page are live registry items, and the Studio link opens with the same paper, foil and finish locked in for your own artwork.
