Coloured metallic foil
A transparent coloured lacquer over a metal base, so the colour keeps the metallic flash underneath. Pigment versions are flat and opaque instead.
We run this finish across KURZ, Crown Roll Leaf, Great Western and CHENHUI. Which roll your job is stamped with depends on the stock, the smallest detail in the artwork and the run length, the exact product code is confirmed on your quote.
Best for
- Brand colour in metal
- Seals
- Accent rules
Watch out for
- A metallic tint over a dark stock goes darker than the chip, the metal base is what carries it.
Premium vs value, honestly
We compare a stamped sample on your chosen stock. Adhesion, detail and reflection matter as much as colour, so two similar foils are not automatically interchangeable.

Will your logo hold in foil?
Fine detail survives foil: lines hold to 0.1 mm; we design to 0.15 mm with gaps around 0.25 mm. We adjust only below-floor details and preserve your mark.
