Opaque white pigment foil
A flat, opaque, non-metallic foil. This is the correct, and only, way to put genuinely white type on a dark sheet. Letterpress ink is semi-translucent and will not do this job.
We run this finish across KURZ, Crown Roll Leaf, Great Western and CHENHUI. Which roll your job is stamped with depends on the stock, the smallest detail in the artwork and the run length, the exact product code is confirmed on your quote.
Best for
- Light type on dark dyed-through stock
- Colorplan Ebony and Gmund Matt black work
Watch out for
- Pigment lays thicker than metallic, keep counters open on tight typefaces and allow a hair more trap.
Premium vs value, honestly
We compare a stamped sample on your chosen stock. Adhesion, detail and reflection matter as much as colour, so two similar foils are not automatically interchangeable.

Will your logo hold in foil?
Fine detail survives foil: lines hold to 0.1 mm; we design to 0.15 mm with gaps around 0.25 mm. We adjust only below-floor details and preserve your mark.
