- After use
- A polyethylene zipper suits a mono-polyethylene bag. On a compostable bag it must be certified with the bag.
Look and feel
Two interlocking plastic tracks just under the top seal. You tear the notch, then press it shut again.
Printing on it
The top 3–4 cm of the bag holds the tear notch, the top seal and the zipper. Keep type out of that band.
Closure types
Press-to-close (single or double track), pocket zipper (sealed above, so it shows tampering), or slider for one-hand use.
After use
A polyethylene zipper suits a mono-polyethylene bag. On a compostable bag it must be certified with the bag.
