Gmund Action Nuclear Acid
fluorescent acid green-yellow. 310 gsm, tactile surface.
The neon lime of Gmund's Action range: a 310 g/m² board with a fine, fabric-like texture and a faint mica sparkle. It's the loudest colour in our library, and it looks its best left almost bare, with foil, blind emboss or a shape doing the talking.
The colour shown here is an on-screen approximation. Paper shifts under different light, order a sample before you lock a shade.
From the mill
- Printing: offset, letterpress, silkscreen, blind embossing and hot foil; die-cutting recommended.
- The surface doesn't absorb ink: use fully oxidative inks and allow at least 48 hours to dry.
- Not suitable for laser or inkjet printers.
- Use the top side of the sheet as the front.
- Neon shades have reduced light fastness; direct sunlight changes the colour.
- Metallic foil on finished Action papers can oxidise; a clear varnish under large foil areas prevents it.
- Acid-free and pH-neutral.

Common questions
- Is Gmund Action Nuclear Acid dyed through?
- No. The cut edge shows the stock's own material and construction. Painted edges are available as a separate finish.
- Which print methods and finishes work on Gmund Action Nuclear Acid?
- We offer Foil stamping, Blind deboss, Emboss, Spot UV, Flat digital / offset, Screen printing, Die cutting, Painted edges.
- What weights do you stock Gmund Action Nuclear Acid in?
- 310 gsm.
- Can I see it before I order?
- Yes. Screens flatten texture and shift colour. Ask for a physical sample before choosing your stock.
- Can you print on Gmund Action paper?
- Yes, with offset, letterpress, silkscreen, blind embossing and hot foil. The surface doesn't absorb ink, so offset needs oxidative inks and about 48 hours to dry. Gmund says it isn't suitable for laser or inkjet printers.
- Does holographic foil work on neon paper?
- Yes. Silver holographic foil reads as dark chrome until a light hits it, so it stands out hard against a neon ground. Stamp each foil on bare paper in its own pass, and test it on the actual sheet first.
- Do neon papers fade?
- They can. Gmund notes that the neon pigments in Action have reduced light fastness, and direct sunlight will shift the colour. Cards kept in wallets and drawers are fine; window displays aren't.
