The story
Materica is made to feel like a material rather than a paper. A blend of mechanical pulp, recycled fibre, virgin cellulose and a dose of cotton gives it a dry, slightly rough surface with visible flecks, and colours drawn from earth and stone: Gesso, Limestone, Clay, Ardesia, Terra Rossa, Verdigris and newer shades like Rust, Terracotta and Terra Gialla. Every making varies a touch, which is part of the charm. It is lovely with blind deboss, white ink or a single foil.
40% CTMP, 25% recycled (FSC), 25% ECF virgin, 10% cotton; FSC Mix; 250 gsm (except Gesso, Limestone) and 360 gsm off-line laminated
