Drie lagen verlijmd tot één kaart: witte voorkant, zwarte kern, witte achterkant. Twee naden scheiden de lagen.
De contrasterende kern hoort bij de opbouw. Het is geen kleur die op de rand is geverfd.
Druk en oppervlakteafwerking worden waar nodig vóór het verlijmen voltooid, om de achterzijde te beschermen.
