The triplex construction is the concept: two ivory faces sandwiching a charcoal core, so the edge of every card reads like a concrete cross-section. Gold foil carries the couple's names in a commanding slab serif, while blind deboss pushes secondary information into shadow — tactile hierarchy you discover by tilting the card. The painted gold edge catches light against the dark core like gilding on a raw beam.
