Pantone® Warm Red Uncoated: Pantone Warm Red en uncoated papel
Translúcido: no cubre papel oscuro. Los impresores lo escriben PMS Warm Red U; las guías de marca suelen escribirlo Pantone® Warm Red Uncoated. Misma tinta, misma plancha: la letra es el papel sobre el que cae. En coated papel del mismo color es PMS Warm Red C, y no se ve igual.

Estucado o no estucado, con honestidad
The same ink is not the same colour on the two stocks. On coated sheets the ink sits on a sealed surface: denser, brighter, sharper edges. On uncoated the fibres absorb it: softer, duller, slightly lighter, and warm colours lose the most punch. Some colours change character outright: brights go chalky, deep navies go grey-blue.

Cómo se comporta en producción
- Se sitúa entre el rojo y el naranja y queda fuera de la gama de cuatricromía. Es el color al que se recurre cuando el 186 resulta demasiado corporativo.
Sobre papel oscuro
Offset and letterpress inks are translucent. On a dark or coloured stock a light ink will not cover: it sinks into the sheet and reads tone-on-tone. For light colour on dark paper the answer is foil stamping or an opaque screen pass, never a straight PMS hit.

- Not as a standard ink hit. Pantone Warm Red is translucent, so on dark stock the paper colour comes through and the result is tone-on-tone. For this colour on dark paper we foil stamp or run an opaque screen instead.
- Can Pantone Warm Red be matched in CMYK?
