Gelt & Glow — wrapping paper
Gelt & Glow wanted holiday wrap that looked like a stationery piece, not a printed film. One Pantone flood, gold foil on the flame linework, and a repeat tight enough that no seam shows on a small box.

Two rules
- 01Registering foil to a repeat. Cut the foil die to the repeat rather than the sheet, and stamp after the flood so the blue is dry and dimensionally settled.
- 02Spot blue on uncoated text. Pantone 2141 C as a spot flood, one hit, on uncoated text. Slight tooth left showing is the point.
The brief
Custom gift wrap, 69# uncoated text stock in Pantone 2141 C blue flood, printed on a 1.8 in repeat: a hand-drawn menorah pattern with the flame linework in gold hot foil, the candle bodies as knocked-out paper white; a wrapped gift box shown with a cream ribbon.

Questions
- What is the Gelt & Glow wrapping paper printed on?
- 69# uncoated text, Pantone 2141 C spot, Gold hot foil, 1.8 in pattern repeat. Every line of that spec is what actually ran, not a proposal.
- Why registering foil to a repeat?
- Foil dies move against a 1.8 inch repeat. Any drift compounds and the flames slide off the candles by the far edge. Cut the foil die to the repeat rather than the sheet, and stamp after the flood so the blue is dry and dimensionally settled.
- Can Print Peppermint print this specification again?
- Yes. The materials on this page are live registry items, and the Studio link opens with the same paper, foil and finish locked in for your own artwork.
