Missed it? New Year cards land in the quiet week after Christmas and get read.
Foil is a metal film pressed on with heat. It's opaque and either on or off, so there are no gradients. Gold on white cotton is the classic.
Ink pushed down into the cotton. You feel every line. It loves type and simple marks, not big solid areas.
The edges of a thick card painted a solid colour. Red or gold edges make a flat card look finished from the side.

For family cards: your names, a short greeting, return address on the envelope flap if you want it.
For business: your logo in foil, sent to clients and the team. See business holiday cards.
Ready-to-order 5×7 cards start at $199 for 100 with envelopes. Custom foil and letterpress sets are quoted because the design sets the dies.
Ready cards ship faster. Custom sets take about three weeks after you approve the proof, plus shipping (an estimate). See the order-by dates above.
Foil is shiny metal film sitting on the paper. Letterpress is ink pressed into it. Foil reads festive, letterpress reads quiet and tactile.

Yes. Our sample kit is $8 and comes with a $10 credit toward your first order. It's built around business cards, but it uses the same papers, foils and finishes as our holiday cards, including a swatch card with every hot foil we stock. Every Custom order also gets a free digital proof before anything is made. See the sample kit.
