- Cotton: 100% cotton fiber, warm off-white, uncoated. Soft, tactile, and absorbent. Best for: minimal designs, foil, letterpress-adjacent feel without the impression.
- Silk Laminate: Bright white with smooth matte lamination. Professional, clean, and versatile. Best for: full-color photography, detailed graphics, modern branding.
- Soft Touch: Bright white with velvety soft-touch lamination. Resists fingerprints, feels like suede. Best for: dark designs, luxury branding, textural contrast with spot UV.

About Thick Business Cards
32pt is approximately 0.8mm — noticeably thicker than standard 16pt cards. 48pt is approximately 1.2mm — nearly twice the weight of a standard card. Thicker cards project confidence, substance, and permanence.
Edge treatments (painting and foil) are especially dramatic on thick stock. The paper you choose determines the tactile personality. Cotton feels warm and natural. Silk feels smooth and refined. Soft touch feels like velvet. All three are available at both 32pt and 48pt, giving you six combinations of weight and surface — each one a distinct experience in someone's hand.

Just got the square cards with the black edge. GREAT! love the thickness and quality of the cards!
I am very disappointed with my print job. I agree with the other reviews in regards to the paper stock, what you read is what you get, thick card stock is great. BUT the print quality is TERRIBLE. My print quality was a simple design, JUST black ink. The black ink looks like I printed the business cards at home printer, the black is not a solid black, it has a purple/brown tone to it. And some of the cards have a 3/D effect to them, as it looks like the print is not 100% clear and off set. Maybe you get what you pay for. SEPARATELY, I filed a complaint and Peppermint Print offered $25 refund or they "think" they can reprint for free. As a Branding/Marketing consultant, I have 500 bad quality business cards on my hands, poor reflection of the extension of my brand, end result cannot utilize any of the cards. I definitely do not recommend Print Peppermint.

A 48pt business card is approximately 0.048 inches thick, nearly 50% thicker than a 32pt card. It's rigid, weighty and impossible to bend.
What paper options are available for thick business cards?
Three papers: cotton (off-white, uncoated, fibrous texture), silk laminate (smooth satin finish) and soft touch (velvet-like suede texture). All available at 32pt and 48pt.
Can you add foil or spot UV to thick business cards?
Yes. Custom thick cards support hot foil stamping, spot UV, edge painting and edge foil, on 32pt or 48pt stock.
What is the difference between cotton, silk and soft touch paper?
Cotton is uncoated with visible fibre texture and a warm, organic feel. Silk laminate has a smooth, satin-finish coating. Soft touch has a velvet-like lamination that feels like suede.
