Gmund Heidi Soft Kraft 530gsm — a soft warm sand-kraft board with the same deep felt tooth; warmer and cleaner than a recycled parcel kraft.
At 530gsm it is roughly twice a heavy business card: render a THICK, visible edge with a clean square cut, never a thin sheet.
The tooth is the identity — a deep, irregular felt grain that catches raking light. Uncoated and toothy: never described as coated, glossy or smooth.
The weight is the point: a deep letterpress or blind deboss bite on BOTH faces without the impression telegraphing through.
No 4-colour process, no photographic imagery, no fine gradients — the surface breaks them up.
Warm ground shifts every ink warmer — cool blues and greys go muddy; brown-black, deep green and copper foil sit right.
