How it behaves in production
- Cordenons Wild — 100%-uncoated felt-textured colored paper (deep forest green). Reads matte and painterly, never coated or shiny.
- Letterpress goes tone-on-tone only (dark stock — ink darkens). Foil is the hero technique — metallic foils pop against the matte felt.
- Blind emboss/deboss reads strong on the felt surface. Core-adjacent tier — safe to propose alongside cotton when the brief wants colour without gloss.
- White pigment ink or foil for any legibility-critical text.
Common questions
- Is Wild Green dyed through?
- Yes. The colour runs all the way through the sheet, so a cut, debossed, or die-cut edge shows the same deep forest green as the face — no white core.
- Can you letterpress on Wild Green?
- Yes — it is one of the techniques we run on this stock. Letterpress ink is semi-translucent, so on darker shades it reads tone-on-tone; on light shades it prints as expected.
- What weights do you stock Wild Green in?
- 285 gsm. Heavier weights can usually be duplexed to order — ask and we will confirm before quoting.
- Can I see it before I order?
- Yes, and you should. Screens flatten texture and shift colour. We send physical samples of any stock in this directory before you commit.

CHENHUI Standard Metallic (M series) Bright Silver is the only honest way to get a light mark onto a sheet this dark — ink would sink into it. On a textured dyed-through stock the foil sits proud and the sheet stays matte around it.
