How it behaves in production
- Bead-blasted iridescent — the spectrum is DIFFUSED, soft and powdery, with no mirror reflection.
- Never render it as the mirror version dimmed: the diffusion is the difference.
Common questions
- Is Iridescent metal — MATTE dyed through?
- No. Iridescent metal — MATTE is not a dyed-through sheet, so a cut edge will not match the printed face. If you need a coloured edge on this stock we add painted edging as a separate operation.
- Can you letterpress on Iridescent metal — MATTE?
- We do not recommend letterpress on Iridescent metal — MATTE. For light type on this stock we use foil stamping instead, which is opaque and sits cleanly on the surface.
